Ruth embarked on her journey in voice over to share her love of education and storytelling. Her voice has been described as warm, inviting, approachable, easy to listen to, confident and versatile. Her friendly, clear sound is well suited to narration, travelogues or e-learning while her vocal range fits the variable needs of children's stories. Ruth’s home studio passes ACX quality and requirements.
Ruth is a trained voice over talent who values storytelling, Ruth has read countless books to children including reading stories to her middle school students as part of her curriculum for audio context as well as enjoyment. Her career took her to graduate medical education where she used her skills in writing and speaking to create books and e-learning tools as well as creating a certifying organization and inspiring its growth and development. Presently she records live for her local radio reading service for the visually and physically impaired. During the COVID Pandemic, she pre-recorded sessions for broadcast. She has also performed in community theater productions.
